Blasphemy and Desecration

- What the latest news and events are from Willow Wisp? As I know, you have released a new CD by Full Moon Productions.

- Right now we are in the process of completing a new line up. Toe Knee and I are the original members. Our keyboardist Glad has gone berserk and plans to hide out somewhere in Maine. We killed off Church the Glam bass player. We have got a new brother in the band named I-Bex who is a guitarist.

- In what spirit the last album is sustained? Is it in various styles from gothic rock to death/black metal as well? I think so approach in musical creativity allows to accept Willow Wisp as rather a magnificent and artistic band.

- The new album will definitely be heavier, darker and more psychotic. It is more in the traditional way of applying various forms of music, but in a more unified way. It will also be more bleak and serious.

- What is attractive for you in H. P. Lovecraft's tales? Name the stories you liked the most.

-My attraction to the great master of the macabre H.P. Lovecraft stems back to my childhood. I found solace in his excellent prose and agile mind. Among my absolute favorite stories are - The Terrible Old Man, What the Moon Brings, The Outsider and Beyond the Wall of Sleep.

- A. La Vey's doctrine has very strong positions among Satanists in the USA. I know you like the books of this founder of Church of Satan. What is your opinion about them?

- Anton Lavey was a very clever human being. A true individual who understood the complex nature of man. I related to him on a personal level because I found in his beliefs the same as mine. He basically preached the doctrine of truth yet in a rather dark and misanthropic manner.

- On the concerts Air-Rik cuts himself with a razor. What is it: the part of scenic show or some rituals, maybe a bloody fetish?

- Cutting myself with a razor may very well be some sort of a fetish. It's something I can pull off live when I'm in that state of mind. I've tried it once in "civilian form" and found it to be very painful. But live when I transform I sometimes can't stop myself, and just keep nicking away and it feels good. It might not be as shocking as most performers who use big knives, but it's still effective and always brings out the common "GASP!"

- In Canadian Assault #4 (November 1.999 anno bastardi, USA) Dale Roy-editor has written the next review about your new CD "Delusions of Grandeur (A Gathering of Heretics)" - black / gothic ambient music. "These trendy Americans try really hard to be next Cradle of Filth. I guess Fullmoon has now jumped on the goth band wagon too!" - Dale Roy - an editor of Canadian Assault. What is your opinion about such a sort of review of Willow Wisp's creativity?

- I'm sure it's a lot easier for that guy to sit on his plump pork ass and to yap about his likes and dislikes of the music scene, than to actually create something artistic. Though he may be an artist of some kind behind closed doors, he'll never share with the outside world because he fears the opinion of his own kind.

- In the Empire of Darkness #1 you gave the explanations about the symbols that Willow Wisp use. Here I recollect one symbol "no studs". The nonunderstanding of latitudinarian individualities among fucking orthodox people occurs very often and everywhere. In connection with it I want to remind the following citation: "We are outcasts, who are proud of it" - Meister Schwarsichtig of "Svinetz Saturnianza" ("The Saturnist's Lead") #1(SS #3) almanac (Rusland). Could you say that this citation about you or has relation to you?
